ABOUT ISNE-09

Following the highly successful first International Symposium on Nuclear Energy (ISNE-08) held at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan, the second International Symposium on Nuclear Energy (ISNE-09) will bring together international experts of the nuclear industry involved in the planning, design, development, building, regulating and research related to nuclear energy.

The program will cover the full spectrum of nuclear power issues from the planning and introduction of nuclear power, to the design, deployment and construction of nuclear power plants. The program is expected to cover challenges facing developing countries in introducing nuclear power for the first time, including technology selection, infrastructure, socioeconomic impact, environmental impact, legal framework, human resource development, safety, fuel supply, and public awareness.

 

                                   VENUE

The Amman campus of Al-Balqa Applied University, namely the Faculty of Engineering Technology , will be the venue of the symposium. Transportation to FET will be arranged by the organizers.
